Food insecurity is a big problem in Australia, so we decided to help out a worthy cause; Safe By The Bay at Wynnum.
It’s important to remember those who don’t have a place they can come home to and those that are struggling to provide food for their families. Fortunately, there are organisations that support people in need but many have limited funding and don’t always have a ready stream of volunteers.
Fallon Cares is an initiative that was established to help organisations that help our community. This year many of our technicians and office-based team members volunteered to update the building of Safe by the Bay at Wynnum, a community support program that provides food and a place to get together for people in need.
